Curriculum

DARWIN/NIETZSCHE/FREUD (Semester One) DAILY

This class will allow students to examine the challenges to value judgments of Charles Darwin and endeavored resolutions to them, aligning on the four spheres of aesthetics, ethics, cultural value, and subjectivity. Comprehensions will contain passages from Darwin’s The Origin of Species, Nietzsche’s The Genealogy of Morals, and the texts later published as The Will to Power, Civilization and Its Discontents, and Beyond the Pleasure Principle. A one hour class.

BIOETHICS (Semester Two) DAILY

Bioethics deals with a variety of ethical concerns arising from the perspective of remedial care and biomedical research. These subjects comprise educated consent, euthanasia, confidentiality, and the sharing of health care resources. The class will use ethical theory to draw attention on problems in medicine and problems in medicine to illuminate ethical theory. A one hour class.

MATH (Semester One and Semester Two) DAILY

The math course will remain the same, in accordance with the USA/UK curriculum. However, the length of the daily course will be extended to a one hour class, Monday through Friday.

SCIENCE (Semester One and Semester Two) DAILY

The science course will remain the same, in accordance with the USA/UK curriculum. However, the length of the daily course will be extended to a one hour class, Monday through Friday.

READING/ENGLISH (Semester One and Semester Two) DAILY

The reading/English course will remain the same, in accordance with the USA/UK curriculum. However, the length of the daily course will be extended to a one hour class, Monday through Friday.

SOCIAL STUDIES (Semester One and Semester Two) DAILY

The Social Studies course will remain the same, in accordance with the USA/UK curriculum. However, the length of the daily course will be extended to a one hour class, Monday through Friday.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION (Semester One and Semester Two) TWICE A WEEK

The physical education course will remain the same, in accordance with the USA/UK curriculum. However, the length of the course will be extended to a one hour class.

ART CLASS (Semester One and Semester Two) TWICE A WEEK

The Art Class course will remain the same, in accordance with the USA/UK curriculum. However, the length of the course will be extended to a one hour class.

MUSIC CLASS (Semester One and Semester Two) TWICE A WEEK

The music class course will remain the same, in accordance with the USA/UK curriculum. However, the length of the course will be extended to a one hour class.

POWER SHOP (Semester One and Semester Two) TWICE A WEEK

The Power Shop course will remain the same, in accordance with the USA/UK curriculum. However, the length of the course will be extended to a one hour class. 

HOME ECONOMICS (Fall Semester or Spring Semester) TWICE A WEEK

The Home Economics course will remain the same, in accordance with the USA/UK curriculum. However, the length of the course will be extended to a one hour class. 

7th Grade

ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICS (Semester One) DAILY

This class will allow students to reflect on important philosophical works that engage environmental ethics. Students will also have the chance to contemplate noteworthy developing subjects in environmental ethics. A one hour class.

PHILOSOPHY OF HUMAN RIGHTS ( Semester Two) DAILY

This course will allow students to contemplate conceivable rationalizations for human rights, both legal and moral, as well as opinions that there are no human rights. The class will cover the issue of whether it is probable to embrace human rights while valuing the variety of human cultures, religions, and moral views. A one hour class.

HEALTH AND HUMAN RIGHTS (Semester One) DAILY

This class allows students to discover current work on the way in which human rights and public health intersect in the quest to secure inclusive wellbeing. A one hour class.

PHILOSOPHY OF LAW (Semester Two) DAILY

This class allows students to analyze the essential legal notions and the difficulties of numerous legal practices. Subjects will contain the association between law and morality, the dissimilarity between criminal and civil law, theories of constitutional and statutory interpretation, and the appropriate role of the judiciary. A one hour class.
